On December 4, Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with a delegation led by Serkan Kayalar, President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), during its visit to Azerbaijan.
Welcoming the guests, the minister underlined that the friendly and brotherly relations between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye are a strong basis for the high-level development of relations in all fields, including culture.
It was mentioned that there are wide opportunities for strengthening cooperation in various cultural fields. Considerable progress can be achieved by using the potential of both countries in such areas as restoration and preservation of historical monuments, joint archaeological studies, cinema, audio-visual arts, and other fields.
TIKA President Serkan Kayalar expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and outlined the areas of activity of the organization he heads and its ongoing relations with Azerbaijan.
He expressed TIKA's interest in cooperation in the mentioned areas. During the meeting, views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
