State Service and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Sign Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Protection and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments Located in the Territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed between the State Service for Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development, and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Culture and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. Sabina Hajiyeva, the head of the State Service, and Aktotı Raimkulova, the president of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, signed the document.
The aim of signing the Memorandum of Understanding is to safeguard, restore, and maintain historical and cultural monuments under state protection in our country, to organize relevant training, and to broaden cooperation in the field of cultural heritage. On the basis of the mentioned document, it is planned to support the restoration of the mosque located in the liberated village Gochahmadli in Fuzuli district.
At the signing ceremony, the importance of establishing relations with the brotherly Turkic republics in various fields, especially strengthening cultural ties, was emphasized as a source of great satisfaction. The Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation was praised for its active role in the protection, promotion, and development of the culture and cultural heritage of the Turkic people. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan provides significant support to this cause, and expectations were expressed that cooperation will be strengthened in the future.
During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of mutual interest.
