Leaders and experts of famous circuses of Hungary, Russia, and Belarus were invited by Azerbaijan to visit our country. The purpose of the visit is to establish cooperation with Baku State Circus. On October 14, a meeting with the visiting circus experts was held at the Ministry of Culture in Baku. The meeting was attended by Peter Fekete, director of the Budapest Circus, head of the Budapest International Circus Festival, president of the East European Circus Association, former minister of culture of Hungary; Maksim Nikulin, artistic director and general director of the Moscow Nikulin Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard; Vladimir Shaban, director of the Belarusian State Circus; Elmira Bulatova, director of the Kazan Circus (Republic of Tatarstan- RF); Lyudmila Kuznetsova, general director of the largest amusement park in Russia, and other guests. Minister of Culture Adil Karimli welcomed the guests and mentioned the rich circus art traditions of our country. He noted that the Baku State Circus has a long history and is internationally recognized beyond Azerbaijan.
During the discussion, the leaders of the circus shared their experience and talked about the establishment of cooperation with the Baku State Circus and the implementation of joint projects. At the same time, they discussed the construction of a light circus structure, a chapitone, during the renovation period. In this sense, the experience of the Hungarian circus was taken into consideration.
At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on the issues of specialization of the creative team of the Baku State Circus in relevant educational institutions of foreign countries. At the end of the meeting, commemorative photos were taken with the guests.
