The Forum "Azerbaijani Cinema 125: Reality, Challenges, and Goals", which started on April 20 under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture and the Heydar Aliyev Center within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev", continues.

Along with distinguished cultural and artistic figures from Azerbaijan, the forum also includes film personalities from other countries.

Actor Azer Aydamir moderated the first panel of the second day of the film forum, which was dedicated to "Business: Principles and Mechanisms of Financing Cinema and Other Audiovisual Works" on April 21.

The panel addressed the following topics: "Improving the regulatory and legal framework in the field of cinema," "Regulating audience interest in local films," and "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio's 100-year history and prospects.

During the panel, the Chairman of the Film Directors Guild of Azerbaijan, Honored Art Worker Huseyn Mehdiyev, Director of the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio, Honored Worker of Culture Nazim Huseynov, Executive Director of Baku Media Center, Honored Worker of Culture Orman Aliyev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "CinemaPlus" cinema chain Zaur Darabzadeh, "Park Cinema", executive director of the cinema chain Elnur Allahverdiyev, secretary of the Azerbaijan Union of Film-makers Ali Isa Jabbarov, and film director Emil Guliyev shared their views on the mentioned topics.

According to the nomination prepared by the State Tourism Agency, the World Heritage Area covers the surrounding grasslands used by the local population (Guba and Gusar) including the Khinalig village and the wintering areas of the Central Aran region (Absheron and Hajigabul), as well as the length of more than 200 km of historical migration route (Guba-Shamakhi-Qobustan) between them. On this occasion, on behalf of the staff of the Ministry of Culture and the film community of our country, we sincerely congratulate the artist, who has dedicated more than four decades of his life to the development of national cinematography, and wish him good health and many more happy years full of creative inspiration. Khamis Bakir oghlu Muradov was born on September 15, 1943, in the village of Qakhmughal, Gakh district. After graduating from Baku Secondary School No. 72, he continued his studies at the Azerbaijan State Art Institute named after M. Aliyev (now referred to as ADMIU), specializing in directing from 1962 to 1966. In 1966, he joined the “Azerbaijanfilm“ film studio named after Jafar Jabbarli. He worked as an assistant director in the films “Land, Sea, Fire, and Sky“ (1967) by renowned director Shamil Mahmudbeyov and “For the sake of the law“ (1968) by Mukhtar Dadashov. He also worked as the second director on Sh. Mahmudbeyov's film “Shared Bread“ in 1969. Forecasts suggest that by the close of the 21st century, around 4,000 of these languages may vanish. However, he expressed his conviction that the Azerbaijani language would not be among these endangered languages. On the contrary, he anticipates continuous growth and development for our language. This ensures the selection and placement of competent and qualified professionals under conditions of equal opportunity, transparency, and fair competition. The competition consists of two stages, including a test and an interview. On July 16, 2023, the test was conducted jointly with the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
