The XVI Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the member countries and the 38th meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS member states took place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on September 12–13.

The delegation headed by Oleg Amirbeyov, advisor to the Minister of Culture, also took part in the event.

People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, opera singer of Azerbaijan and Russia Dinara Aliyeva, and Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, tar performer Shahriyar Imanov, were among the winners of the next award ceremony of "Stars of the Commonwealth" and "Commonwealth of Debuts", which took place within the framework of the event.

The 38th meeting of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS member states began on the same day.

Various issues were discussed at the meeting.

The XVI Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS member states, attended by about 200 representatives from the member countries, ended with the adoption of the final declaration, which provides for the agreement on the intensification of cooperative activities in the field of science and culture on September 13. The decision was made on September 18, 2023 at the 45th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. According to the nomination prepared by the State Tourism Agency, the World Heritage Area covers the surrounding grasslands used by the local population (Guba and Gusar) including the Khinalig village and the wintering areas of the Central Aran region (Absheron and Hajigabul), as well as the length of more than 200 km of historical migration route (Guba-Shamakhi-Qobustan) between them. Khamis Bakir oghlu Muradov was born on September 15, 1943, in the village of Qakhmughal, Gakh district. After graduating from Baku Secondary School No. 72, he continued his studies at the Azerbaijan State Art Institute named after M. Aliyev (now referred to as ADMIU), specializing in directing from 1962 to 1966. In 1966, he joined the “Azerbaijanfilm“ film studio named after Jafar Jabbarli. As part of the visit, a meeting took place between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Adil Karimli, and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, Hu Heping, with the participation of large delegations. Throughout the conversation, both parties expressed their contentment with the strong state of relations between the two nations. It was emphasized that the foundation for the current progress in bilateral relations was laid by the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev. Interviews for the recruitment of teachers for children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers are about to beginIn order to raise the level of education in children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the recruitment of teachers is carried out through a competitive process. This ensures the selection and placement of competent and qualified professionals under conditions of equal opportunity, transparency, and fair competition. The competition consists of two stages, including a test and an interview. On July 16, 2023, the test was conducted jointly with the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Out of the 1026 candidates who participated in the teacher recruitment test, 511 achieved the necessary passing score, thereby earning the opportunity to proceed to the interview stage of the competition. From September 5, the Ministry of Culture will start the interview phase of the competition to select teachers for children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers. In the interview phase, the candidates will be evaluated by a panel of knowledgeable experts with professional backgrounds. Albania gave a warm welcome to the Culture week of AzerbaijanFrom August 31 to September 3, the rich culture, culinary, and artistic gems of Azerbaijan were presented to the Albanian audience in Tirana. On the first day of the event, an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was opened at the National Museum of Tirana. ANIMAFILM Festival brings an Oscar-winning director to AzerbaijanThe 6th edition of the traditional ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival for children and adults, organized by the Azerbaijan Animation Association will be held at the Nizami Cinema Center on September 6-10, 2023 with support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The festival has recently released its comprehensive program and announced ticket sales. The international jury of the festival includes six foreign professionals: Isabelle Favez (Switzerland), Ismail Iman (Azerbaijan), Ana Chubinidze (Georgia), Oktai Iusibov (Azerbaijan, Finland), Olivier Catherin (France) and Tehzeeb Khurana (India).
