The International Forum of Entrepreneurs in Shusha continues with panel sessions on interesting topics.

The first panel session of the forum, moderated by Leyla Seyidzadeh, a consultant on innovations at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), focused on Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship: Digital Landscape, Trends, and Challenges.

Jehan Ara, CEO and Founder of Katalyst Labs, spoke about their achievements in promoting the role of women in the digital business sector.

Pegah Gol, a member of the Council of Best-Selling Authors and an investor in the AI Talent platform, mentioned that in her career she hasn't come across cases where women were paid less than men for their work.

Vitalia Shutova, the CEO of DevCIT Acceleration, emphasized the importance of business skills for successful entrepreneurship.

Innovation researcher Noshaba Awais highlighted the work being done in her country, Pakistan, to attain gender equality in the digital sector.

Nargiz Amrahova, the director of FemTech, explained that members of the organization she leads now hold a variety of positions: Our main goal is to ensure that women have a fulfilling working life.

At the International Forum of Entrepreneurs in Shusha, the second panel session revolved around the topic "From Startup to Business: Decentralized Artificial Intelligence—Empowering Startups with Innovative and Collaborative Tools: Investors' and Venture Capitalists' Perspectives.".

During the session, moderated by Maria Marenco, a specialist in health, Sylvere Boussamba, founder and chairman of Ogooué Labs, discussed the benefits of artificial intelligence in today's world. He mentioned that artificial intelligence is currently helping to prevent the loss of information.

Teymur Aliyev, head of SOCAR's Strategic Management and Innovation Department, emphasized the need for a cautious approach to the use of artificial intelligence: "The use of AI goes beyond the mere possession of the technology. It requires the acquisition of specific knowledge. If we apply this technology correctly, it can lead to positive results.

Days of Russian Culture Begin in BakuOn June 24, an opening ceremony of the Days of Russian Culture took place at the Heydar Aliyev Palace, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Delegation of the Ministry of Culture Cisits GermanyThe delegation of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan visited the Federal Republic of Germany. On June 21, they visited the Dresden State and University Library, where they were informed about its historical background and activities. The delegation also examined a handwritten copy of the epos “Kitabi-Dada Gorgud,“ a remarkable cultural and literary relic of the Turkic world, which is kept in the library. This manuscript contains an introduction and 12 sagas. The second copy of the epos is kept in Vatican. Azerbaijan Represented with a Stand at the International Animation Film FestivalThe Annecy International Animation Film Festival took place in Annecy, France. The First Stand of Azerbaijan Featured at Beijing Book FairThe 30th Beijing International Book Fair kicked off on June 19, bringing together book industry representatives from various countries. "Sword and Pen," presented in TashkentThe Days of Azerbaijani Culture, held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, continue with vibrant events. One such event took place on June 13 at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev in Tashkent. The center hosted a presentation of the Uzbek translation of the book “Sword and Pen“ by Mamed Said Ordubadi, a well-known author of historical novels. The opening speech at the ceremony, attended by scientists and intellectuals from Uzbekistan, was delivered by Ilgar Fahmi, the poet and playwright and the secretary of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers (UAW). State Yugh Theatre presents "It's Me" in TashkentThe Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Tashkent continue with interesting events. Winners of the "A-Hub Acceleration Program" awarded in ShushaAs reported earlier, the global finals of the “A-Hub Acceleration Program” for 2023 took place on June 2 at the Baku Crystal Hall, supported by the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with ICESCO and “New Space Open Innovation” as part of the Digital Creative Weekend project. Ninth Vocalist Competition Named after Bulbul Kicks OffThe opening ceremony of the 9th International Vocalist Competition, named after Bulbul, took place on June 3 at the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic, named after M. Magomayev. Over 140 vocalists aged 18 to 36 compete for victory in the competition held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Bulbul International Foundation. The competition includes a diverse group of participants. Along with Azerbaijan, over 25 countries, including Türkiye, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, and Macedonia, will compete for the prizes in the Bulbul competition over the course of a week. Choreographer Magsud Mammadov visited at home on the occasion of his 95th birthdayCelebrated ballet master and icon of Azerbaijani ballet, people's artist and presidential scholar Magsud Mammadov, celebrated his 95th birthday on May 30. On June 1, Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov and key ministry officials visited the artist at his home. The Deputy Minister congratulated the artist on his anniversary and wished him good health. It was noted that Magsud Mammadov, the first Azerbaijani ballet artist with formal education, began his career as a soloist at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Magsud Mammadov's contributions to Azerbaijani ballet have always been recognized by the state.
