reported earlier, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in cooperation with the Turkic republics, a full-length feature film named "Molla Nasreddin, Friend of My Hard Times" will be produced.On May 22, a meeting took place in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the preparation process for the film project.
The meeting was attended by Sultan Raev, TURKSOY's general secretary, film director, and People's Artist Vagif Mustafayev, along with other guests.
Sultan Raev pointed out that the film will be shot in Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan over the next few months. The project will serve as a bridge within the cinema sector, uniting brotherly Turkic nations.
The Minister thanked TURKSOY and Secretary General Sultan Raev for their support in the production of the film. Confidence was expressed that a decent film would be created with the participation of well-known actors from the Turkic world.
It's worth mentioning that at the 40th meeting of the Permanent Council of Ministers of Culture of the member states of TURKSOY, which was held in Shusha in October last year, a joint decision was made to co-produce a full-length feature film named "Molla Nasreddin: Friend of My Hard Times" with the support of the brotherly republics.
