XVIII Baku International Jazz Festival to be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture
The XVIII Baku International Jazz Festival comes to meet its fans with its diverse program on October 6.
Held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and lasting until October 15, this year’s program of the festival is expected to be very rich. The festival will entertain jazz lovers with the concerts by jazz performers and other interesting events.
Musicians from 15 countries, including Grammy Award winners and nominees, American jazz and rap performer Theo Croker, jazz harpist
Edmar Castaneda and Gregoire Maret will go on stage with their special programs at the Baku International Jazz Festival.Brazilian vocalist Mario Bakuna will hold his concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center on October 14.
This year’s jazz program includes the traditional “I am Jazzman!” international contest among young jazz performers. The program also includes meetings with the “Jazz & Vinyl” and “Grammy” award winners, researcher Fuad Akhundov, and the exhibition “White Birds of Jazz” by artist Eldar Gurbanov.
