As we reported, on September 28, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli received citizens at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Mingachevir.
After the reception, the Minister got acquainted with the activities of a number of cultural institutions in the city.
First, he visited the Mingachevir State Drama Theater and was informed about the history, material and technical facilities, current situation, and the repertoire of the cultural center.
Later, the Minister visited eleven-year Music School No. 1 named after U. Hajibayli, Mingachevir City Central Library of the Centralized Library System (CLS), the History Museum, the Cultural Center, and Branch No. 9 of the CLS.
During the review, appropriate instructions and recommendations were given regarding the elimination of existing problems in the institutions and the efficient organization of activities.
Lastly, the Minister visited the House-Museum of Ali and Islam Ahmadovs, the martyred brothers of the 44-day Patriotic War, which resulted in the historic victory.
Sevinj Ahmadova, the mother of the martyred brothers, gave information about the way of fighting of her sons, as well as the exhibits stored in the museum.
