On May 10, our country celebrates the centennial of the father of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

The name of the world-famous politician and esteemed statesman, Heydar Aliyev, is linked with over three decades of Azerbaijan's history.

During both periods of his leadership in our republic, the national leader was a true supporter of our culture, taking great care to nurture its development and ensure that our rich cultural heritage and art are recognized and promoted worldwide. The memory of the brilliant leader who holds a special place in our history is always cherished by those working in the field of culture, just like all the people of Azerbaijan.

The staff of the Ministry of Culture visited the national leader's grave on May 10. Employees of the Ministry visited the grave of Heydar Aliyev and paid their respects by laying flowers before it.

Azerbaijan will host the III Korkut Ata Film Festival of the Turkic WorldThe 3rd Korkut Ata Film Festival of the Turkic Worldwill be held in Baku and Shusha cities of Azerbaijan on October 8-11. The festival will be co-organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Center, TURKSOY, Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Baku Media Center. The festival aims to foster the unity of the Turkic world and cultural cooperation among Turkic nations and, by creating a joint audiovisual space together with the Turkic states, contribute to the integration of the Turkic nations into it. Minister of Culture visits institutions in MingachevirAs we reported, on September 28, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli received citizens at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Mingachevir. Khamis Bakir oghlu Muradov was born on September 15, 1943, in the village of Qakhmughal, Gakh district. VI "Animafilm" International Animation Festival has endedThe 6th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival, organized by the Azerbaijan Animation Association, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at the Nizami Cinema Center from September 6 to 10.
