"The Dead's" by Jalil Mammadguluzadeh will be performed at the Heydar Aliyev Center on February 24 as part of the Heydar Aliyev and the National Theater Art project honoring the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Ministry of Culture, the play will be performed by the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater.
The production and artistic director of the performance is People’s Artist Azer Pasha Nematov. A new version of the music written by People's Artist Gara Garayev for "The Dead's" will be used in the stage work. The Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli will play the music under the direction of People's Artist Rauf Abdullayev.
In the two-act drama, the part of Sheikh Nasrullah will be performed by People's Artist Nureddin Mehdikhanli, and that of Iskander will be performed by Honored Artist Anar Haybatov. They will be joined on stage by people's artists Ali Nur, Haji Ismayilov, Rafig Azimov, Sabir Mammadov, Honored Artists Elkhan Rustamov, Mazahir Jafarov, and Mirza Aghabeyli, and other actors.

The tragicomedy "The Dead's" by Jalil Mammadguluzadeh is the favorite work of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
