The Azerbaijan Days of Culture, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will be held from September 23 to 27 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. On September 24, a presentation of the book "Fuzuli-530 verses" in the Kazakh language and a literary-poetic meeting "Fuzuli-530" will be held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as scientific and cultural personalities of both countries and other guests, participated in the event. Ilgar Fahmi, the secretary of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, emphasized that this year marks the 530th anniversary of the birth of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Muhammad Fuzuli. On this occasion, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation has published "Fuzuli: 530 Verses," a collection of Fuzuli's ghazals and qasidas in Kazakh.
Rustam Ali, Head of the Committee on Archives, Documentation, and Book Trade of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, emphasized the importance of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture. He noted that the friendship and extensive cooperation between the two countries will continue to bring our peoples closer.
Oleg Amirbeyov, Advisor to the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, spoke about the creative work of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Muhammad Fuzuli. He mentioned that on January 25, 2024, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to commemorate the 530th anniversary of Fuzuli's birth.
