From October 2 to 8, the Baku Expo Center will host the 10th Baku International Book Fair, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
This year's anniversary exhibition is dedicated to the 530th anniversary of the birth of the great Azerbaijani poet and philosopher Muhammad Fuzuli (1494-1556). A total of 47 foreign organizations from 19 countries on 4 continents, including more than 100 local publishing, printing, and book art enterprises, have registered for the event. Famous writers, poets, scientists, and young writers from Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Ireland, Germany, Venezuela, and other countries will take part in the exhibition. An extensive program has been organized for this upcoming event.
During the Book Fair, there will be master classes for children and adults, book presentations on inclusion and other key issues, book signings, conferences, symposiums, competitions, reading and music sessions, and interaction platforms for members of the book industry.
More than 270 events in various formats are scheduled to take place during the fair. The 16th meeting of the Asian Storytelling Committee, of which our country is a member, will also be held during the event. Special buses will transport visitors from the "Academy of Sciences," "28th May," and "Koroghlu" metro stations to the Baku Expo Center.
You can visit the exhibition free of charge every day between 10.00 and 20.00.
