Interviews for the recruitment of teachers for children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers are about to begin

In order to raise the level of education in children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the recruitment of teachers is carried out through a competitive process. This ensures the selection and placement of competent and qualified professionals under conditions of equal opportunity, transparency, and fair competition. The competition consists of two stages, including a test and an interview.

On July 16, 2023, the test was conducted jointly with the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Out of the 1026 candidates who participated in the teacher recruitment test, 511 achieved the necessary passing score, thereby earning the opportunity to proceed to the interview stage of the competition.

From September 5, the Ministry of Culture will start the interview phase of the competition to select teachers for children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers.

In the interview phase, the candidates will be evaluated by a panel of knowledgeable experts with professional backgrounds. Candidates who receive a score of 21 or more out of a total of 30 points are deemed successful in the interview.

The interview stage of the competition is scheduled to conclude on September 11. Candidates will receive the results within 7 working days after the conclusion of the interviews.
