Fuad Natig oglu Ibrahimov has been appointed as the artistic director and chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra, named after U. Hajibeyli, under the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall, named after M. Magomayev. He has taken over this position from People's Artist Rauf Abdullayev.

Fuad Ibrahimov was the conductor of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Munich New Philharmonic, and the chief conductor of the "Baku Chamber Orchestra," established under the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli.

Fuad Ibrahimov won 2nd place in the 4th Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition in Paris, organized with the support of "Radio France", "France musique", "L'orchestre philharmonique", and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

He conducted in various famous concert halls worldwide, was granted the President's Award in 2022 and is an honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

International Mugham Festival to present various concert programsThe upcoming VI International Mugham Festival “World of Mugham“ will take place from June 18 to 25. The winners of the National Mugham Competition, which took place from April 24 to 27, will represent our country at the festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
