In honor of the 150th anniversary of Azerbaijan's national theater and as part of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev," several theaters and music groups based in the capital are launching new tours to different regions.

The purpose of the tour organized by the Ministry of Culture on April 22 and 24 is to revitalize cultural life in the regions, provide meaningful leisure time for the population, especially the youth, facilitate close communication with local creative groups, and exchange beneficial experiences.

As part of the project, the Variety Ensemble of the Azerbaijan State Song Theater will perform for music lovers on April 22 at the Shamakhi Culture Center (at 15:00). On the same day, Arslan Novrasli's jazz group will perform an ethno-jazz concert at the Khachmaz Culture Center named after Heydar Aliyev (at 16:00).

The April 24 schedule includes three performances: Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater will stage "Talking Doll" in Lankaran State Drama Theater (14:00), Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater after A. Shaig will perform "Malikmammad" in Gusar Lezgi State Drama Theater (12:00), and Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater will present "Pantomime Bouquet" in Ismayilli Culture Centre (14:00).

Tours to regional areas will continue in May. It is worth noting that several theaters based in the capital traveled to regions from March 20 to 27 under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.

The decision was made on September 18, 2023 at the 45th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. According to the nomination prepared by the State Tourism Agency, the World Heritage Area covers the surrounding grasslands used by the local population (Guba and Gusar) including the Khinalig village and the wintering areas of the Central Aran region (Absheron and Hajigabul), as well as the length of more than 200 km of historical migration route (Guba-Shamakhi-Qobustan) between them. On this occasion, on behalf of the staff of the Ministry of Culture and the film community of our country, we sincerely congratulate the artist, who has dedicated more than four decades of his life to the development of national cinematography, and wish him good health and many more happy years full of creative inspiration. Khamis Bakir oghlu Muradov was born on September 15, 1943, in the village of Qakhmughal, Gakh district. After graduating from Baku Secondary School No. 72, he continued his studies at the Azerbaijan State Art Institute named after M. Aliyev (now referred to as ADMIU), specializing in directing from 1962 to 1966. In 1966, he joined the “Azerbaijanfilm“ film studio named after Jafar Jabbarli. He worked as an assistant director in the films “Land, Sea, Fire, and Sky“ (1967) by renowned director Shamil Mahmudbeyov and “For the sake of the law“ (1968) by Mukhtar Dadashov. Forecasts suggest that by the close of the 21st century, around 4,000 of these languages may vanish. However, he expressed his conviction that the Azerbaijani language would not be among these endangered languages. On the contrary, he anticipates continuous growth and development for our language. This ensures the selection and placement of competent and qualified professionals under conditions of equal opportunity, transparency, and fair competition. The competition consists of two stages, including a test and an interview. On July 16, 2023, the test was conducted jointly with the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
