In line with the Regulations for the Recruitment of Principals, Deputy Principals, and Teachers in Children's Music, Art, Painting, Mugham, and Ashug Schools and Centers by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan approved by the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 3-24/3-1-f-63/2023 dated April 4, 2023, the recruitment of principals, deputy principals, and teachers is carried out on the basis of competition. The competition is structured into two stages, which involve a test and an interview.
On July 16, 2023, a joint test exam was conducted in collaboration with the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the selection of principals, deputy principals, and teachers for children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers.
Candidates who have scored 50 points in the test for principal recruitment (70 points for Baku city schools, 60 points for schools in Sumgayit and Ganja, as well as Absheron district) and 45 points for deputy principal positions (63 points for Baku city schools, 54 points for Sumgayit and Ganja cities, and Absheron district); 35 points in the teacher recruitment test (49 points for Baku city schools, 42 points for Sumgayit and Ganja cities, and Absheron district), 30 points for string instruments (cello and double bass), classical and national wind instruments, and choreography specialties (44 points for schools in Baku, 37 points for Sumgayit and Ganja cities, and Absheron district) are eligible to participate in the interview phase of the competition.
The process of registering and selecting vacancies for the interview stage will start on August 18, 2023 at 09:00 to August 25, 2023 at 17:00. Please take note: The results of candidates who took part in the test exam phase of the 2022 competition for teacher recruitment in children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers under the Ministry of Culture will remain valid for a period of two years (2022 and 2023). Accordingly, candidates who have obtained the minimum required score in the 2022 test will be eligible to register directly for the interview stage and make a selection for a vacancy.
